Who comes

Founder or remote worker?

Meet other founders, freelancers and remote workers. Talk about work, clients and life here. Coworkings are quiet. This isn't.

Just moved here?

You moved here, or you're here for a few months. You want more than Instagram stories from your apartment. Meet people who live here and people who just arrived, like you.

From Buenos Aires?

Meet people from New York, London, São Paulo and everywhere else without leaving your neighborhood. Practice your English. Show them the real Buenos Aires.

Made for people in their 20s and 30s.

Buenos Aires is easy to love. Making new friends here is harder.

Porteños have had the same friend groups since school. Nomads leave after a few weeks. Apps give you small talk with people who never show up. So we keep it simple: a good bar, friendly people, every week.

Open social. English, Spanish, or a mix.

11:00 PM

Whoever wants keeps going: dinner, another bar, or a boliche (a club).

Zach with friends at a night out

A note from Zach

I'm Zach. I live in New York, where I co-founded PressPitch AI and work as a fractional CMO. Before that I built Filteroff, a dating app that was acquired by a dating conglomerate. I also gave a TEDx talk on technology and human connection.

In December 2022 I spent a month in Buenos Aires and hosted three nights here. The photos on this page are from those nights. What I love most about this city is how social it is. The hard part is getting in when you don't know anyone yet.

So I'm starting the group I wanted when I landed: good bars, good people, locals and newcomers in the same room. Come say hi. I'll be at the door.

Questions

Do I have to come with someone?

No. The nights are built for people who come alone. The host introduces you to people when you arrive.

My Spanish isn't good. Is that OK?

Yes. You'll hear English and Spanish all night, and lots of people come to practice.

I'm from Buenos Aires. Is this for me?

Yes. The best nights have a real mix of locals and people from abroad. You'll meet people from all over the world and practice your English.

Is this a dating thing?

No. It's a social club first. Most people come to make friends. If you meet someone you like, great. Every so often we host a singles night, and we always say so.

How much does it cost?

Joining the group is free. Entry to the social nights is free. You pay for your own drinks and food.

Who comes?

Locals, expats, digital nomads, founders and remote workers in their 20s and 30s.

Where are the events?

Bars in Palermo, Recoleta, Villa Crespo and San Telmo. We post the exact address in the WhatsApp group.

What happens in the WhatsApp group?

We post upcoming events, venue details and last-minute plans. You can mute it or leave anytime.

Is it safe?

We look after the room. The rule is simple: be kind, no selling, no creeps. Anyone who makes others uncomfortable is removed from the group.
